The atmosphere before the duel between Georges St Pierre e Michael Bisping, who will face off at UFC 217, on November 4th, is full of provocations, but the Canadian knows how to leave rivalry aside when it comes to the qualities of his next rival. “Bisping is a very good champion, he will be the biggest challenge I have ever had in my career. He never gave up on facing anyone, so it's an interesting and very tough fight and I'm preparing for it. He's the most dangerous guy I've ever faced, because he's a different weight division. I haven't fought in almost four years, he has an excellent skill set, he's good at striking, good at kickboxing, and he has the heart of a lion, so that's what makes him a very dangerous opponent,” said the fighter in an interview to the 'Combate' channel website.

Without stepping into the Octagon for almost four years, St. Pierre avoided deciding what his future will be after the duel with Bisping. However, the former welterweight champion guarantees that he is returning motivated to continue his career, in addition to highlighting that, by contract, he will have to face Australian Robbert Whittaker, interim middleweight champion, if he beats the Englishman.

“I'm back for real. I'm ready to fight right now. Yes (I plan to keep fighting). Let's see what will happen. It all depends on what happens and how it happens. I have no choice, in my contract it is written that I will have to face Robbert Whittaker (interim champion) after this fight (with Bisping). I'm coming back and the fans are going to see the best Georges St-Pierre of all time. This Georges St-Pierre of today would destroy the Georges St-Pierre of the past, so I'm much better today, bigger, stronger, and hungrier for victory”, said GSP, who concluded by stating that he has nothing against Bisping, for whom he already I expected to be provoked.

PUBLICITY:

“I have nothing against him, he has something against me, but this is his game. He tries to get into my head, and I wasn't expecting anything less (when I accepted this fight). I expected all of this and I have no problem with (the way he has been acting)”, he concluded.
