After the announcement of the rematch between José Aldo and Ricardo Lamas, the UFC Winnipeg card, which will take place on December 16th, in Canada, won two more important fights, both in the welterweight category. The Argentine Santiago Ponzinibbio faces Mike Perry, While Eric Silva faces Canadian Jordan Mein.

At 30 years old, Ponzinibbio last acted in July this year, when he knocked out Gunnar Nelson in the first round of the main fight at UFC Scotland. The Brazilian Erick silva, 33 years old, is looking for recovery after being knocked out by Yancy Medeiros at UFC 212, in June, in Rio de Janeiro. In Ultimate since 2011, the Espírito Santo alternates between good and bad results, totaling seven triumphs and seven setbacks.
