After submitting Ray Borg in the fifth round and retaining the flyweight belt for the 11th consecutive time, surpassing the record set by Anderson Silva, who has ten title defenses, the under-56kg champion was awarded one of the performance bonuses of the night, pocketing an extra US$50.

Another flyweight rewarded for his performance was John Moraga, who delivered a brutal knockout to Magomed Bibulatov in the second fight on the preliminary card. The light weights Lando vannata e Bobby Green, who fought a hard-fought battle for three rounds, which ended in a draw, were also awarded and are going home with their pockets full.
