The witch is loose on the card UFC Sao Paulo, event scheduled for October 28th. After Augusto Tanquinho suffered a tibia injury and left the show, it was the turn of welterweight Luan Chagas to be removed from the fight he would have against Niko Price. Through social media, the Brazilian fighter himself revealed that he suffered a fracture in his left foot and will need to undergo surgery, making him unable to fight.

“Hey guys, I have some important news for you. Unfortunately, my fight on October 28th, at UFC Sao Paulo, fell through due to a fracture I suffered in my foot during training camp. It is a fracture that requires surgery and is already scheduled for next week. I was very sad about it, but in this sport these things happen. I hope that as soon as I recover from surgery we can schedule this fight against the Niko Price. I really want to face him and I know everyone wants to see that! Luan, 24 years old, has already had three fights in Ultimate. After debuting in a draw with Serginho Moraes, was completed by Erick silva, but recovered by submitting Jim Wallhead at UFC 212 in June of this year. Interestingly, all of his fights in the organization were in Brazil. In total, Tarzan, as he is known, has a record of 15 wins, two defeats and one draw.

O UFC Sao Paulo, the organization's last event in Brazil in 2017, will see the return of Lyoto Machida, suspended for the last 18 months. The former light heavyweight champion faces Derek Brunson in the main fight of the show, in a middleweight duel. Among the Brazilians, also in action will be names like Demian Maia, Antonio Shoe Face, Thiago Marreta, Francisco Massaranduba and John Lineker.
