“I come through this to communicate my departure from UFC Sao Paulo, October 28th. I was informed of a potential drug test violation… I am fully aware that I have not used any substance prohibited by USADA since I signed with the UFC! I didn't even take caffeine in capsule form anymore! I will be awaiting USADA’s judgment… With that in mind, I apologize to everyone who was looking forward to this fight”, declared Boi.

The Brazilian signed with the UFC after winning the first eight fights of his career. Undefeated, at 8-0, he would make his debut against Christian Colombo. Officially, the UFC is looking for a replacement to face the Dane, but if they don't find one, Colombo will be officially removed from the squad.
