Peruvian of Kyrgyz origin Valentina Shevchenko revealed that he must drop weight for his next fight. Recently defeated by the bantamweight champion Amanda nunes at UFC 215 last Saturday (9), “Bullet” should try for the flyweight title in his next fight. The new division has just been created by Ultimate, which will crown the first champion in the 26th season of The Ultimate Fighter, a reality show that is being broadcast on North American TV.

In an interview with the Submission Radio podcast, Valentina reported that she should have her next fights in the under-57 kg category, which is her natural division, but guarantees that she remains eager to face the Lioness again.
“You know, I should switch to the lower division for my next fight. Flyweight is closer to my real weight, it's my real division. Of course, I feel comfortable at bantamweight, but I feel that at flyweight I will be able to use all my techniques and show my skills against opponents of the same size as me,” said Shevchenko, who aims to be champion of two weight categories.
“I do think about that (winning two titles). I want to go back and face Amanda again. Next time, I will leave no doubt about the decision, as happened a few days ago. It's still on my mind, of course, and it's something I want. Not now, but in the near future, it will definitely happen”, he concluded.
