The California Athletic Commission (CSAC) revealed that it has officially changed the result of the UFC 214 main fight. Jon Jones upon Daniel Cormier, now the duel is without result (No Contest). The information was given by commissioner Andy Foster to the North American website MMA Fighting. The change came hours after USADA announced that in sample B of the exam conducted in Jon Jones A prohibited substance was also found, as had already happened in the first sample analyzed by the organization.

The UFC has not officially commented on the change in the result, but it is likely that “Bones” will lose the light heavyweight title he won over Cormier. In this scenario, the title becomes vacant or DC itself “regains” the belt. Dana White recently declared that, if Jones' doping was confirmed, then the former champion would return to his title.

Jon Jones tested positive in a test carried out the day before UFC 214 for the banned substance turinabol. In every exam, samples A and B are taken and the second is only analyzed if a problem is found with the first. Jones himself asked that sample B be analyzed after turinabol was found in A. Last Tuesday night (12), USADA confirmed that sample B also contained traces of turinabol.
