The Brazilian Amanda nunes went through difficult times at UFC 215, but got a victory from his rival Valentina Shevchenko, retaining her bantamweight belt and isolating herself as the undisputed UFC champion. After the first duel between the two, the Lioness was heavily criticized for her physical preparation, as she was almost knocked out in the third round, after two excellent rounds.

This time, however, the Brazilian showed a lot of progress in this regard, and maintained the pace during the 25 minutes of fight. Amanda fought five rounds for the first time in her UFC career, and retained her title with a split decision – two of the three side judges scored three of the five rounds for her, while one of them judged Shevchenko won three rounds.
