In an interview with the Encarada channel, Aldo declared that he still has four or five fights left in his commitment with the UFC and that he will even change sports as soon as he fulfills his contract with Ultimate.
“I think I still have four or five (fights in my contract with the UFC), but going into boxing later is right (…) I want to do some work starting at the bottom, taking on athletes who are not well ranked so that one day, perhaps, I can aim for a world title. . That's the idea, it's a dream I have. I'm not after money. I prefer to do what my heart asks, tells me. Money is good, we will always try to fight for it, but my intention now is to start from scratch, without challenging anyone. But if someone challenged me, I would sit down, talk to everyone and not make the decision alone”, declared the fighter, who should actually return at UFC 217, in New York.
“I want to fight. I asked to fight as soon as possible. We've been saying this since my last fight, I'm asking to fight as soon as possible. This (UFC 217) is an event that is close, it is a big event and I want to be part of it”, he concluded.
