The courage of Conor McGregor, who ventured into boxing against Floyd Mayweather, one of the greatest of all time in the noble art, without having professional experience in the sport, caught the attention of athletes from other sports. One of them is simply the greatest Olympic athlete of all time. Owner of 28 medals, 23 gold, former swimmer Michael Phelps made a “challenge” to the Irishman and invited him to a swimming duel.

Recently retired from competition, Phelps recently swam against a shark and ended up losing. However, the duel against McGregor would be much easier if he left the role. Out of social media by choice since his super fight against Mayweather, Conor has not yet responded to the challenge, but he must have been happy to be remembered by one of the greatest sportsmen of all time, who used his official Twitter to extend the invitation to the “Notorious ”.
“All this talk…should we run a race too, Conor McGregor?”, asked Phelps with a montage of a poster of the two in swimming caps.
