Veterans Clay Guida and Joe Lauzon face off at UFC Norfolk

Lightweight representatives have a combined record of 90 fights and will face off on November 11

Two of Ultimate's most charismatic veterans will face off on November 11th, at UFC Norfolk. Clay guida e Joe lauzon, who have 90 fights in their combined record between the two, face off in the main portion of the event, also called UFC Fight Night 120. Also at lightweight, Dustin poirier e Anthony Pettis they make the main fight of the show.

Both Lauzon and Guida have 24 UFC appearances, with “J-Lau” recording 14 wins and 10 losses, while “The Carpenter” has 13 triumphs and 11 setbacks. Lauzon, who has 15 Performance of the Night bonuses in his UFC career, is coming off a split decision loss to Stevie Ray at UFC Scotland. Guida, who recently returned from an “adventure” in the featherweight division, achieved a good victory over former promise Erik Koch in his last fight.

In addition to Pettis x Poirier, the UFC Norfolk will, for now, have three Brazilians in action. Junior “Baby” Albini, who shook up the heavyweight division with a knockout over Tim Johnson in his debut, faces the former champion Andrei Arlovski. At light heavyweight, Marcel Fortuna tries to recover from his defeat to Jordan Johnson in his first fight in the division, against Jake collier. Finally, Cézar Mutante seeks to maintain his good form in the middleweight division by facing veteran Nate Marquardt, who is coming off a defeat to his master and friend Vitor belfort.
