It is no coincidence that Floyd Mayweather has the nickname “Money”. The fighter declared that he is already thinking about the fine he will receive from Conor McGregor, if the Irishman does not reach the agreed weight limit (154 pounds or 69,8 kg.) for this Saturday's superfight (26). In an interview with the website FightHype, the North American expressed concern about his rival's weight, who would still have to lose 4,5 kg. until next Friday (25). On the other hand, he said that he will charge the fine stipulated in the contract, if the “Notorious” fails.

“I don't think he'll make weight. And even if he makes weight, it will be better for me. But if he doesn't knock, we'll fight anyway, but he'll have to pay a heavy fine. He gives me this money,” Floyd shot.
In his boxing debut, McGregor will fight at super welterweight, almost the equivalent of lightweight in MMA, a category in which he is UFC world champion. The Irishman has already fought at featherweight, where he also won the belt, a category four kilos lighter than the division in which he will face Floyd on August 26th.
