“I announce my departure from UFC commentary. I was offered a position at a real estate company and will be attending Northwestern University for my MBA this fall. Thank you everyone for the years of support, especially the athletes and coaches that I love dearly. I will continue to be a fan of MMA and go to events. My wife, Teressa Stann, who supported me a lot during the war, the fighting and now in this transition. I will love you forever and I thank you very much. This moves to my focus on my family. I traveled 26 weekends last year for work while I had another job. My new role will be difficult, but it still gives me weekends with my wife and three children,” Brian wrote.
Brian Stann, 36 years old, has been retired from MMA since 2013. His last performance was the historic battle he fought with Wanderlei Silva, in a fight full of emotions and twists, won by the Brazilian by technical knockout. In total, his record has 12 wins and six losses, having won the light heavyweight belt of the now defunct WEC.
