“My goal is to be the champion and there is no route that will take less than two years for me to regain my middleweight title. All fighters are taking time to accept fights. It's a strange place to be and it's no fun to be on standby. If things don't change quickly at middleweight, I'm already starting to think about permanently moving up to light heavyweight”, admitted the “All-American”, who declared that he still hopes that Georges St Pierre don't fight Bisping at UFC 217 and he could replace the Canadian.

“Who knows, maybe one of them won't get hurt, or GSP won't fight. UFC 217 will be in New York and I'm already here ready to fight. November would be perfect for me and Bisping couldn't get away from me, not in New York”, pondered the former champion.
