Without fighting since December 2016, when he won the bantamweight belt by defeating Dominick Cruz at UFC 207, Cody Gabrandt has already chosen the date and location to return to the Octagon. If it depends on the champion's wishes, he will be present on the UFC 217 card, on November 4th, in New York (USA), at the legendary Madison Square Garden gym.

“I want to fight at Madison Square Garden. I'm feeling much better, but I'm still not training almost any MMA. For now, just rehabilitation and physical conditioning. I can’t wait to get back to the octagon,” said Cody, in an interview with the “MMA Fighting” website.
Garbrandt's return was scheduled to take place at UFC 213, last July, when he was scheduled to face his arch-rival TJ DIllashaw. However, an injury to the champion's back left him unable to fight. The expectation is that the clash will be rescheduled for the coming months.
At just 25 years old, 'No Love' is undefeated in MMA, having won 11 fights, nine of them by knockout. In Ultimate, there are six triumphs, including knockouts over Augusto Tanquinho and Thominhas Almeida.
