In an interview with the website of the North American broadcaster ESPN, Barboza said that a duel against “Scarface” would be great, as Aldo is the “best featherweight of all time” and assured that he would have no problems breaking the featherweight limit, of 66 kg., four less than the lightweights (70 kg.).
“I don’t think it’s a bad idea to move down a division. I've fought more or less in this category in muay thai, a long time ago, but I know I can make the weight limit. He's the best featherweight of all time. If the UFC offered me this fight, I would certainly be open to sitting down and thinking about it”, commented Barboza.
