After the disappointing return to MMA, with a defeat to Chael Sonnen at Bellator 180 last Saturday (24), Wanderlei Silva is already making plans for the immediate future in the sport. And the Brazilian intends to do some rematches, according to his coach André Dida. The former Pride champion's idea is to fight against athletes who have beaten him previously, such as Sonnen himself, in addition to Vitor belfortRampage Jackson.

In an interview with the MMA Ganhador podcast, Dida says that his pupil should continue in the promotion managed by Scott Coker, especially due to the rivalry he has with some of the names there, such as Sonnen and Rampage, mainly. But Wand doesn't rule out a duel with Belfort and even dreams of avenging his loss to Chuck Liddell, who remains retired but has already talked about fighting again.

“There’s a great chance he’ll stay in Bellator. Especially because he wants to beat up the guys there. He wants to beat Quinton (Rampage) Jackson, wanted a rematch with (Chael) Sonnen… He really wanted to get Vitor (Belfort). He's waiting for Vitor too, he's targeting Quinton, Chuck (Liddell) would be a cool fight to do too”, commented Dida.

In addition to Sonnen, Wanderlei fought only once with Belfort and Liddell. The duel with his compatriot took place in UFC Sao Paulo, in 1998, when “Crazy Dog” was knocked out in less than a minute by the Phenomenon. The fight with the “Iceman” took place on Wand's return to Ultimate, in December 2007, when the Brazilian lost by unanimous decision in Fight of the Year. With Rampage, the rivalry took place in three acts: in the first two fights, in Pride, devastating victories for Wanderlei. The third confrontation took place in the UFC, with the North American winning by knockout.
