The change of opponent for UFC 214, on July 29th, in Anaheim (USA), was not displeased Chris Cyborg. After Megan anderson claiming 'personal problems' and abandoning the fight, veteran Tonya Evinger, former Invicta FC bantamweight champion, was chosen as a replacement to face the Brazilian next month, in a dispute valid for the Ultimate women's featherweight belt.
Through a note sent to the website 'Combate.com', Cyborg celebrated the choice of Evinger, claiming that the American has a more exciting fighting style. However, she didn't miss the opportunity to 'poke' Megan.

Cyborg, 31 years old, has already had two fights in Ultimate, both at catchweight (up to 63,5kg). His debut came at UFC 198, in Curitiba, in May 2016, when he knocked out Leslie Smith. Afterwards, he knocked out Lina Lansberg in the UFC Brasilia, last September. In total, Cris has a record with 17 victories – 15 of them by knockout -, one defeat and one unsuccessful fight.
Evinger, 36 years old, has not lost since 2011, having had 11 fights in that period, with ten wins and one no contest. His most recent performance was in March this year, when he finished It's Kunitskaya and kept the Invicta belt. She has 19 victories, five setbacks and one unsuccessful fight in her professional record.
