One of the great appeals of the duel between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, which takes place on August 26, in Las Vegas, are the possibilities for provocations between the two before the superfight. And one of the executives involved in organizing the event wants to hold press conferences to publicize the fight in several cities in the United States.

Stephen Espinoza, vice-president of Showtime, the channel responsible for staging the Mayweather x McGregor pay-per-view, revealed that he also intends to organize some trips so that the two can be face to face as often as possible.
“I think it would be a big miss for a fan not to see the two of them interacting. Mayweather did this, I think a 10 city tour for 11 days, for the fight against Canelo Alvarez placeholder image. I don't think it's going to be on that level, but I think this is the kind of thing that people are going to want to touch, feel, see how these two will interact. So, I think that at the end of June or beginning of July there will be several cities. It won't be a big tour, but more than two cities. And I think something like that will be fun to watch”, commented Espinoza, in an interview with the North American program “The MMA Hour”.
It's not just Mayweather who has gone on a tour to promote one of his fights. In 2015, Conor McGregor also traveled to several cities, including Rio de Janeiro, to promote his fight against José Aldo, initially scheduled for UFC 189. The Brazilian, however, suffered a rib injury and left the fight – the two would only face each other months later, at UFC 194, when McGregor knocked out “Scarface” in 13 seconds.
