Minutes after Ultimate made it official that Chris Cyborg will compete for the organization's featherweight belt against Megan Anderson at UFC 214On July 29th, the Brazilian spoke out on social media. And, curiously, she took the opportunity to 'poke' her bosses, complaining about the little preparation time she will have for the duel.

“The fact that I struggle with Megan anderson in 40 days for the UFC belt proves that Shannon Knapp and Invicta FC always put the fighters first”, wrote Cyborg, praising the president of the organization where she was the 66kg champion, but gave up the title to move exclusively to the UFC.

At Invicta, Cyborg was the featherweight champion from 2013 to 2016, having five fights in the company, winning all of them by knockout. Her last performance in the 'former house' was in January last year, when she defeated Daria Ibragimova. In Ultimate, Cris only had two fights, both at catchweight (up to 63,5kg). Her debut came at UFC 198 in Curitiba in May 2016, when she knocked out Leslie Smith. Afterwards, she knocked out Lina Lansberg in the UFC Brasilia, last September. In total, Cris has a record with 17 victories – 15 of them by knockout -, one defeat and one unsuccessful fight.
