Main attraction of UFC Singapore, which takes place this Saturday morning (17), Bethe Correia is confident to return to the winning path. To do so, he will have to overcome the former women's bantamweight champion Holly holm, which is also not going through a good time. The Brazilian, however, guarantees that the pressure for a good result will not get in the way of the fight, and believes that the triumph will happen before the scheduled 25 minutes.

“I will win, without a doubt. I don't want the fight to last five rounds, I want it to end sooner because I need a result like that. I believe in a submission or a knockout in the second or third round. She's coming so she doesn't lose. Losing in MMA is very difficult, there is a lot of vanity, people can't stand the feeling of defeat and what comes after the fight. There is pressure on her to win, yes. Just like for me. She has her reasons, and I have mine”, declared Bethe, in an interview with the website 'Combate.com'.

The duel against Holm will be Bethe's second main fight in the company, having already starred in UFC 190 in August 2015, when she was knocked out by Ronda Rousey, in a duel valid for the category belt. The Brazilian, however, guarantees that the situation is completely different.

“The feeling of doing the second main fight is very different from the first. Against Ronda I was very emotional, and the fight had a huge impact, few fights had the same impact as that, you can count it on your fingers. And that was the first time I trained for five rounds. The fight was in Brazil, and that generated a lot of pressure too. Now I'm more experienced, because after that fight I won, lost and matured. Now I'm very different, and it couldn't be any other way, because we always evolve when we work seriously”, said the Brazilian, who concluded by stating that she doesn't expect to be provoked by the former champion.

“Holly is really strange. She will not engage in provocation. She's always like that, a little wimpy, but when it's time, she goes out there and fights. I'm intense, it's my way. I say what I think without fear of judgment or criticism. She would look fake if she tried to be other than what she is. I didn’t expect her to play any provocative game, because it’s not her way,” she concluded. s
