The only Brazilian scheduled for UFC Auckland, which takes place this Saturday (10), in New Zealand, light heavyweight Henrique Frankenstein has the noose around his neck. Coming from two consecutive defeats, the team from Pará knows it needs to win Ion cutelaba to avoid the risk of dismissal. However, he rules out any type of pressure for a positive result.

“I don't say pressured, but I want to show the way I really fight. In those two fights I couldn't fight well. No pressure, but I feel a bit of an obligation to show what I can do”, declared the fighter, in an interview with the website 'Combate.com'.
In his recent defeats, Frankenstein showed deficiencies in his takedown defense game, being easily taken to the ground by his opponents. Now, however, he guarantees that the specific training was done to frustrate his opponents in the next fight.
“I did a camp for two to three months, in Belém, I trained three times a week (…). I'm sure that in the next fight I won't be so deficient in takedown defense”, promised the Brazilian, who concluded by praising Cutelaba's game.
“He’s a guy who has good striking, very good boxing, some good sequences of crosses and hooks. I watched him do some cool judo takedowns, and I saw him working on “dirty boxing”, that boxing on the fence. His fight is interesting. I believe the fight will unfold through striking. But I don't know if due to my deficiency in other fights, accepting takedowns too easily, he could have changed his strategy to try to take me down”, he concluded.
At 27 years old, Frankenstein has a record of 12 wins and two losses. He debuted in the UFC by knocking out Jonathan Wilson in June last year. He then submitted Joachim Christensen, but lost his two most recent fights, the last of which was against Jordan Johnson, at UFC Denver, in January of this year.
