“This is great, I can't put it into words, I can't explain it. Winning the belt was great, but coming home and finding this doesn't compare to anything else (…) I knew there was something great waiting for me when I got off the plane. I was feeling how big it was. There were football players there. It's hard to talk, you need to be here to testify. It's one of those things that you can't translate on camera. You have to be here, witness it and feel the energy”, declared Holloway, in an interview with “KHON2 News”.

At 25, Max Holloway comes from an incredible streak of 11 consecutive victories, having beaten, in addition to Aldo, names like Anthony Pettis, Charles of the Bronx, Jeremy Stephens, Ricardo Lamas and Cub swanson. His last defeat was to Conor McGregor, in August 2013. In the UFC since 2012, the Hawaiian has already had 17 fights in the organization, obtaining 14 positive results and three negative results.
