Anderson Silva comes to José Aldo's defense: 'Very few like us'

José Aldo felt the bitter taste of defeat at UFC 212 again and lost the featherweight belt (up to 66,2 kg.) for Hawaiian Max Holloway. Despite criticism and memes that the knockout suffered resulted in, the Brazilian received an illustrious message of support: from Anderson Silva.

Spider, who, like Aldo, reigned in the middleweight category (up to 84 kg.) for seven years, lost to Chris Weidman, in 2013, and felt the bitter taste of being dethroned. With knowledge of what his friend has been through, Anderson made a point of praising Aldo and saying that 'like us, there are few'.

Through a post on Instagram, Silva sent a long message of support, highlighting the career achievements of the now former champion. Check it out below:
