Randy Couture lost his first battle against the UFC in American justice. Nevada State Court Judge Jennifer Togliatti granted an injunction prohibiting America's Captain from participating in any promotion or production of events, including the IFL, which would coach a team that takes place today. The decision includes a ban on the use of the name “Randy Couture” on the IFL website, printed materials, banners and all material intended to promote the event through the image of the (still) UFC champion.
