Even waiting for the winner of Robert whittaker e Yoel romero to defend his belt again, the middleweight champion Michael Bisping keep an eye on Georges St Pierre. While waiting for the interim champion to emerge from the duel between the New Zealander and the Cuban, the Englishman guarantees that he will face GSP soon.

In an interview with the UFC Tonight program, Bisping admits that he didn't like not fighting with the Canadian, who was injured and had to postpone his return to Ultimate, but guarantees that the duel will happen.

“Georges has said he wants to fight me, even though I don't have the belt anymore. But, believe me, I will keep the title. Obviously, my next fight is against Whittaker or Romero and after I win, we will face each other, for sure. So I'm a happy man,” said Bisping, who said he had known about GSP's eye injury for some time.

“I knew, the UFC knew and, obviously, Georges knew. But I couldn't talk about it because it wasn't my news. It wasn't me who should talk about this, but GSP or the UFC. That's why the fight took so long to be scheduled, that's why it was postponed, but I'm still confident that it will happen”, he summarized.
