The English Michael Bisping seems to be preparing for life away from MMA and is following in the footsteps of Ronda Rousey. At 38 years old, the UFC middleweight champion has used his fame to get work in Hollywood films and, after small appearances, he got a big role: he will be the antagonist in the film “My Name Is Lenny”, which tells the story of the legendary English street fighter Lenny McLean.

In the film, Bisping will play Roy “Pretty Boy” Shaw, the main rival of the titular character, Lenny, played by Josh Helman. The Englishman has already participated in films with Vin Diesel, such as “xXx: Reactivated”, as well as smaller roles in titles such as “Plastic”, not to mention work in the series “Strike Back” and the continuation of the cult hit “Twin Peaks”.

Between one recording and another, however, the middleweight champion needs to defend his title and will have to do so against Georges St Pierre on the second semester. There is still no set date for the fight, but Bisping himself says he believes he will face the former welterweight champion in September or October. The fight should take place in Canada, GSP's homeland.
