The weekend was full of knockouts, submissions and good fights in Fox do Iguaçu. In the second edition of Fight2Night, an event promoted by actor Bruno Gagliasso, North American Matt Hamill knocked out the Brazilian Luiz Banha in just 38 seconds. The duel between former UFC fighters was the main attraction of the show, which also featured prominent names such as: Paulo thiago, William Patolino and Japanese Akihiro Gono.
Hamill beats Banha and recovers
After a series of poor results, Matt Hamill made amends with victory. The fighter who is deaf and was even the subject of a film in the United States, came from a series of four consecutive defeats, but made peace with victory on Brazilian soil.

In the first movements of the fight, Hamill landed a left punch over Banha's guard. The Brazilian felt the blow and bent his knee. The North American took advantage of the moment, connected three more left uppercuts and took Banha to the ground. He took advantage of the moment and with one more punch on the ground he forced the referee to declare a technical knockout.
The triumph was Hamill's first victory since 2012, after four straight defeats. Still in the fighting area, the North American took the opportunity to challenge Thiago Silva, the first to beat him in his recent negative streak and who was the main fight of the first Fight2Night.
More Fights
The event promoted by Bruno Gagliasso brought other prominent names on the card. In the second most important fight of the show, the BOPE police officer and former UFC Paulo thiago concluded the Moroccan Fayçal Hucin. The Brasilia native opened a cut on his rival's face before taking the fight to the ground and finishing with an armbar.
In a very balanced duel, the TUF Brazil runner-up, William Patolino defeated Handesson Ferreira via split decision. Pride and UFC veteran Akihiro Gono didn't have the same luck. The Japanese was knocked out in the third round by Brazilian Killys Mota
