Ex-UFC, Leonardo Macarrão signs with Brave and debuts in Kazakhstan

Brave CF announced the addition of another Brazilian fighter to its squad. This is welterweight Leonardo Macarrão, participant of TUF Brasil 1 and former UFC fighter, who already has a date, opponents and location set for his debut in the organization: he will face Lebanese Mohammad Fakhreddine, at Brave 6, in Kazakhstan, on April 29th.

At 27 years old, Macarrão had two stints in the UFC. The first lasted just one fight, when he was knocked out by Thiago Bodão, in 2012. After achieving five victories in other companies, he returned to Ultimate in 2014, but accumulated two defeats and only one victory, results that culminated in a new dismissal. In total, he has a record with 13 positive results and four negative results.

Considered the biggest name in MMA in the Middle East, Fakhreddine is coming off a victory over Brazilian Vinícius 'Nugget' on March 31, at Brave 4, in Abu Dhabi (UAE). At 32 years old, the Lebanese has nine wins and only one defeat as a professional.

In addition to Macarrão, two more Brazilians are confirmed on the Brave 6 card: Julio Cesar Morceguinho, who faces Ukrainian Bakhtiyr Arzumanov, and newcomer Henrique Rasputin, who faces Russian Eldar Eldarov in the main fight of the night.
