The promotion of the main fight of UFC 210, which takes place this Saturday (8), has been respectful between the protagonists of the duel, the champion Daniel Cormier and the challenger Anthony Johnson. The two have been friendly towards each other, but the fact that DC is constantly extolling his own achievements seems to have irritated “Rumble”.

Johnson talked about the fact that Cormier is working as an event commentator and said that his next opponent's gift for constantly hyping himself up means that no one listens to him anymore. For the challenger, the champion talks so much nonsense that no one listens to him anymore.
“DC will always talk. I already noticed that he just talks. I kind of understood that. He says to listen to himself. I know he wants to be that guy who's a great promoter and everything, but I think he's just his own cheerleader and his own worst promoter, for sure. People don’t believe half the nonsense he says”, commented Johnson in an interview with the North American website “Fox Sports”.
In the first duel between the two, Cormier won by submission in the third round, after almost being knocked out in the opening round. Johnson believes that, in the rematch, the champion's plan will be the same: to put the fight down.
“Everyone knows that if he gets hit and even if he doesn't get hit he will try to take him down. That's what he's going to do. He's a wrestler. That's where his heart is and that's the truth. He’s not the most exciting fighter, but what he does works,” he argued.
