Without fighting since November 2013, Georges St Pierre should return to the octagon later this year, in a duel against the middleweight champion Michael Bisping. However, Freddie Roach, the Canadian's boxing coach, is already aiming for a confrontation against another Ultimate star: the Irishman Conor McGregor.

“For the last fight, we hope it will be with the Conor McGregor. Who wouldn't want this fight? I mean, it would be a great fight. Maybe we would have to work on cutting weight, finding a middle ground in this aspect, but it would be long negotiations that would have to happen. But who doesn't want that fight? – commented Roach to “Fight Hub TV”.
Freddie also revealed that the fight against Michael Bisping It was the idea of Dana White, president of the UFC, himself. According to him, the fight was offered by the manager, and GSP and his team just accepted the duel.
“This fight against Bisping is what was offered to us by Dana White. He asked us if we wanted it and we all said yes”, concluded the coach”.
