Irishman admits thinking about a third duel with North American arch-rival 'later on'

Conor McGregor haven't forgotten yet Nate diaz, his biggest opponent within the UFC. After losing the first fight between the two, in February last year, the Irishman achieved a narrow victory in the rematch, seven months later. And it seems that the current UFC lightweight champion would like to face his rival again.

Through a post on his official Twitter, McGregor posted a video (which has now been taken offline) with a behind-the-scenes look at the second duel with Diaz, won by the Irishman via judges' decision (in the first fight, Conor was submitted in the second round). The Irishman said that the rivalry with the North American is a “big chapter in his career”.

“This is an incredible video of a great chapter in my career. I'm excited to finish the trilogy later on. This was a great fight,” said McGregor.

Before attempting a duel with Floyd Mayweather in boxing, signs pointed to the Irishman defending his belt precisely against Nate diaz. The American has refused several duels offered by the UFC and continues with the speech that he will only return to the octagon to face McGregor.
