Bisping complains about UFC 209 fight and says he will have GSP's funeral

The welterweight title fight between Tyron woodley e Stephen Thompson, which served as the main attraction of UFC 209 last Saturday (4), left many people dissatisfied. The middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, was one of them. The Englishman was very critical of the duel, which was booed by the fans present at the T-Mobile Arena, and even took the opportunity to provoke his next opponent, Georges St Pierre. The Canadian won the belt in the 77 kg category. between 2008 and 2013 and now returns to middleweight after a hiatus of almost four years. For Bisping, if Woodley and Thompson are the best fighters in the division where GSP reigned, then he will pass over his next rival.

“Let's be honest, it was a tactical fight, but it wasn't the most satisfying. If they are the two best welterweights in the world, then I should pass on GSP. This is a fact. If they're the best the division has to offer, I'll arrange a funeral for them. Georges St Pierre very quickly”, provoked Bisping, in an interview with the North American program “TMZ Sports”.

Bisping and St. Pierre came face to face for the first time last Friday (3), during a press conference. The Englishman arrived late and admitted he was hungover, a fact that was a source of provocation from GSP, who accused him of smelling of alcohol and being unprofessional. The middleweight champion did not discuss the challenger's accusations.

“Look, we're not going to fight until the summer (in the middle of the year), and I went to an awards show, won an award and drank. What's the problem? GSP, grow up. Stop being a 12 year old. If I’m in Las Vegas and I want to party, I’m going to do that,” commented Bisping, referring to the World MMA Awards, where he won the Zebra of the Year award.
