An unusual – and regrettable – event occurred during Impact Fight League 66, an amateur MMA event held in Detroit (USA), at the beginning of February. Featherweight Tyler Meadows achieved a beautiful technical knockout victory over Dylan Carpenter, but made the feat take a backseat after his celebration.

As soon as the central referee ended the fight, the winning fighter ran across the cage, jumped over the fence and went to meet a spectator who was watching the fight very close to the ring and next to the loser's corner. The fan, however, was not intimidated and surprised by also attacking Meadows, starting a riot. Luckily, people close to the riot took action and prevented the problem for organizing the event from getting even bigger.
It is not known whether the two involved in the riot had any old feud. After the discussion, Tyler returned to the cage and saw the referee announce his victory by technical knockout, at 2:38, of the second round.
