With just over a week to go before they face each other at UFC 209, on March 4th, in Las Vegas, the rivalry between Khabib Nurmagomedov e Tony Ferguson continues to increase. In a conference call for the event, held this Thursday (24), the two athletes competing for the interim lightweight belt exchanged barbs and provocations about the most diverse reasons.

Tony knows too, because he ran from me. I asked you about money. Why didn't you accept? I offered you US$200 (R$680). That’s big money in the USA.”
Ferguson, irritated, 'lowered' the level of the discussion and said: “I don't want your fake money, man. Wants to know? Keep that money and wipe your ass with it, do whatever you want with it. Why don't you donate this money? Be a man and donate!”
Nurma, apparently calmer, replied: “Relax, relax! You understand who is who and what will happen after this fight. I brought you here. Nobody brought you, I did it”, said the Russian, who saw ‘El Cucuy’ respond harshly again.
“Your hat is covering your ear and you are not listening to me. You didn't do shit. Would you rather fight another Darrell Horcher? Was this the type of opponent you wanted? Another Darrel Horcher for you to bully? Connect! Nobody brought me here. So, the nine wins I had, the nine wins in a row, you'll say, “I did that. Did I do all the work?” No, you didn't do shit. F*** Khabib! You just bully. I am a killer and I will end you. You’re nothing against me”, said the American, who completed by contesting his rival’s current physical form.
“You’re fat, man. You’ll never make weight and your fitness is shit.”
To conclude, Khabib responded: “Do you know why you asked for so much money to face me? Because you know this will be your last fight. This will be his last fight in the UFC. That's why. We'll see on March 4th. I’m going to break your face and I’m going to end your career.”
Khabib Nurmagomedov e Tony Ferguson face each other in the second most important fight of UFC 209. In the main attraction of the show, the welterweight champion Tyron woodley takes revenge against Stephen Thompson, in a duel valid for the category title. Still on the main card, Rashad evans makes his middleweight debut against Australian Dan Kelly, while alistair overeem e Mark Hunt measure forces in heavy weights. In the preliminary portion, Brazilians Luis Henrique KLB and Iuri Marajó, who face Marcin tybura e Luke sandersrespectively.
