If any MMA fan still held out hope that the rivalry between Chris Cyborg e Ronda Rousey was resolved inside the Octagon, it's good to let go of the idea. According to Cyborg herself, who is planning her return to Ultimate after having proven her innocence in the case of a possible anti-doping violation at USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency), a duel against the former bantamweight champion is not part of the plans, especially after the North American's recent defeats.

“I think a fight between me and her would be the biggest fight of all time. But after she lost two in a row… I really always knew she wouldn't be able to hit me. I simply knew. And this fight will never happen and has never happened before because she also knew it would happen. What to Amanda nunes did, I would do worse. Everyone knows this and, therefore, this fight will never happen”, he said. Chris Cyborg, in an interview on the program “The MMA Hour” (USA).
Cyborg also 'criticized' the way Ronda's team handled the blonde's return. For the Brazilian, Rousey should have fought again against another opponent, and not directly for the belt, as happened in the duel against Amanda nunes at UFC 207, when the American was knocked out in just 48 seconds.
“I believe she needed to fight, win and gain confidence to try to get the belt back. It's very difficult to fight directly for the title. Many people fight for years before getting the chance and she only missed out for a year. If I were someone's manager, I wouldn't like this. I would give her more fights and leave her with confidence, because defeat to Holly holm it destroyed her psychology”, concluded the Brazilian.
