Cyborg, who would be the next challenger for the belt, mocked the Dutchwoman's stance, and suggested that De Randamie is running away from a duel between the two, which should take place soon.

“It's funny because they knew before this fight that whoever won would face me in the first defense of the belt. I was supposed to fight at this event (UFC 208), but I couldn't and it was clear that whoever won would be my next opponent. Now that she won, she first said that she was injured and needed surgery and two days later she said that she would do the rematch against Holly holm. It’s a funny stance”, said Cyborg on the North American program “The MMA Hour”.

Despite the scolding of the new champion, Cyborg said she was happy with the opening of her division. The Brazilian should soon resolve the issue with USADA, which notified her of a possible positive test.
