One of the biggest rivals of Conor McGregor in MMA, José Aldo does not see any chance of success for the Irishman in a possible boxing fight against multi-champion Floyd Mayweather. The UFC featherweight champion doesn't even know if the fight will materialize, but if it does, Aldo guarantees that the chances of McGregor leaving with his hand raised are very slim.

“We don’t know if it’s going to happen or not, there’s a lot involved. McGregor has a contract to follow, so it's unlikely to happen. But if it happens, I don't think he has a chance, mainly because Mayweather is a very experienced guy, he's been boxing for years. It's a fight, of course, but I think it's very difficult (McGregor to win). Entering a different world, challenging one of the best in history... I don't see any other result other than Mayweather's victory”, commented the Brazilian, in a chat on social media.

Like McGregor, Aldo dreams of fighting professional boxing. Unlike the Irishman, the Brazilian intends to gradually find his way into the new sport, and revealed that he is already actively seeking to fulfill his desire.

“It's a sport that I've already been negotiating, and I'm very close to having a boxing fight. I dream of following this career. Starting, of course, with smaller fights, to one day have a big fight, in the very near future”, he guaranteed.
