At a press conference held today in Japan, news moved the MMA world. The directors of the extinct Pride and K-1 Heros announced a union and the creation of the DREAM event. . The first edition of the event is scheduled for March 15th and the fight between Gesias Cavalcanti and Shinya Aoki.
The new organization also announced a lightweight and a middleweight GP for this year. Through video conference, Royce gracie and Gesias Cavalcante sent a message of support for the event. Rumors on the internet still suggest that Hero's will end to make way for DREAM, but the Japanese have not yet commented on this.
