The North American Nina ansaroff He had to wait almost three years to get his first UFC victory, achieved at UFC Phoenix last Sunday (15). Dealing with serious injuries, the strawweight only remained motivated because of her girlfriend, the world bantamweight champion Amanda nunes.
“In her last three fights, Amanda always called me out, telling everyone that I would be the next champion. It's a little pressure, but she believes in me. I know what I'm capable of and she knows it too. And her actions motivated me a lot to get this victory”, commented Nina after the submission over Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger, in the preliminary portion of UFC Phoenix.
Ansaroff debuted in Ultimate in November 2014 with a defeat to Brazilian Ju Thai. After a serious problem with weight cutting, which took her out of a duel against Rose namajunas, the American lost to Justine Kish at UFC 195, in January last year. A year later, her first triumph came.
