Brazilian Alex Cobra, from the Thai Center team in Santos-SP, achieved another feat for Brazil this Saturday. Alex defeated Thai Ponchai by KO in the 4th round and became one of the few Brazilians to win in what is considered the “temple of Muay Thai”, the Lumpinee Stadium.
Alex Cobra started the 1st Round by giving very strong low kicks, which caused his opponent to fall off balance several times due to the force of the kicks. In the 2nd round the fight was more open, with the Thai fighter throwing several high kicks at Alex's guard, who remained calm. In the 3rd Round, Alex managed to open a large cut on his opponent's eyebrow due to several knees inflicted by the Brazilian. Finally, in the 4th Round, Alex managed to surround the Thai on the ropes and with excellent combinations of blows and very strong low kicks, he made him unable to stand.
