After another knockout defeat suffered by Ronda Rousey, many called for the former champion to retire. But one of those who want the American to continue fighting is Floyd Mayweather. The two are declared enemies, but that didn't stop the multi-time boxing champion from sending a message of support to the American.

“Keep your head up, stay focused, keep believing. A true champion turns things around, you’ll be fine, everything will be fine”, commented Mayweather, also mentioning that Ronda can still perform in MMA.
“I think her defeat had a lot to do with the time out of competition. She should have faced some woman who wasn't as fit as the woman she faced. She (Amanda) was tough and resilient so we can't take anything away from her. She was the better woman that night, but Ronda still has a lot to give,” she concluded.
Mayweather and Rousey exchanged barbs on several occasions. The former champion, chosen as the best fighter of 2015 by the ESPY award, made a point of remembering the legal problems of Floyd, who was accused of hitting his wife, when he received the honor. The former boxer responded by saying that he had never seen any MMA fighter earn US$300 million for just one fight, as he had earned in the duel against Manny Pacquiao.
