Brazil has another representative in the UFC. Bantamweight Ricardo 'Carcacinha' Ramos is the organization's new hire, after being 'discovered' on the reality show 'Looking for a Fight', presented by president Dana White. The place in Ultimate was achieved after the submission victory over Alfred Khashakyan, last August.

Through a social network, the fighter celebrated the new opportunity. “The time to show the world who I am has arrived. It is with great pleasure that I share with everyone that I am the UFC's new signing and the youngest Brazilian in the organization. It's a long journey but I've already shown what I'm capable of at 21 years of age, and there's ground to burn. I'm prepared for that. This belt will be mine! Thank you to everyone who has always supported me on this journey so far. Thank you family, team and especially thank you God! We’re together guys,” he wrote.
At 21 years old, Carcacinha becomes the youngest Brazilian fighter on the current UFC roster. He has a professional record of 10 fights, with nine wins and just one loss.
