Brazil has another representative in the UFC. The place in Ultimate was achieved after the submission victory over Alfred Khashakyan, last August.

Through a social network, the fighter celebrated the new opportunity. “The time to show the world who I am has arrived. It is with great pleasure that I share with everyone that I am the UFC's new signing and the youngest Brazilian in the organization. It's a long journey but I've already shown what I'm capable of at 21 years of age, and there's ground to burn. I'm prepared for that. This belt will be mine! Thank you to everyone who has always supported me on this journey so far. Thank you family, team and especially thank you God! We’re together guys,” he wrote.
