One of MMA's legends confirms his retirement. Without fighting since August 2005 when he lost to Nakamura, at Pride Final Conflict, Igor Vovchanchyn, in an interview with the website M1MixFight, stated that he will not return to the ring and that he is now a businessman.
“Now I am a businessman. I will not come back. I always think about this, but I'm 35, you know. The main problem is injuries”, said Vovchanchyn, who was a finalist in the first PRIDE GP in 2000.
