“I told Ronda that she had done a lot for the sport and I thanked her very much. Rousey is still the biggest name in the division. She's already a millionaire, I don't understand why she keeps doing this. She needs to retire”, commented the Lioness in a post-event press conference.
Amanda made a point of criticizing her victim's main trainer, Armenian Edmon Tarverdyan, who specializes in boxing. For the champion, the coach made Rousey think she was a high-level boxer.
“Ronda's coach put some crazy thoughts in her head and, from then on, her career started to decline. I'm the exchanger here, not her. I feel a little bad for her,” said Amanda.
The Brazilian reached her seventh victory in the UFC, with just one setback. In 2016 alone, there were three triumphs: against Valentina Shevchenko, Miesha Tate, in a fight that gave him the title, and now against Ronda Rousey.
