One of the main names in UFC history, Chuck Liddell did not hide his concern about the return of Ronda Rousey to the octagon, which takes place at UFC 207, on the 30th, in Las Vegas, against the bantamweight champion Amanda nunes. For the former fighter, the psychological side of the muse can negatively influence his performance, and he compared her with the Brazilian José Aldo, who went through a similar situation to the North American, when both were knocked out and lost their belts at the end of 2015.

“What worries me is this: a guy like José Aldo, he was knocked out and he wanted to fight again that same day. He wanted the rematch right away. That's a fighter. This is a guy who has things sorted out in his head: ‘I made a mistake, I know what that mistake was and I want to win now’. She didn't handle it that way. I don't know what happened to her. I don't know how she is mentally. I haven't spoken to her, I haven't seen her. But, personally, I think that after the fight and the way she handled the defeat, I would have been nervous if I had bet on her”, declared Chuck, in an interview with the website ‘TMZ’ (USA).

For Liddell, the ideal for Ronda would be to have a “smaller” fight before competing for the category title again. “Liddell even went further and suggested that it would be better for Ronda to have a smaller fight before fighting for the category belt: “If I were her coach, I would like to give her a 'warm-up fight', to make her better mentally. I know it would be difficult for her, with the name she has, to come back in a small fight. But she will face a very, very tough opponent. It’s hard to come back in a situation like that,” she added.

Ronda Rousey hasn't fought since November last year, when he lost the belt brutally to Holly holm at UFC 193, in Melbourne, Australia. Previously, she had defended the category belt on seven occasions, winning all of her fights by knockout or submission. In total, there are 12 victories and only one defeat in his career.
