Chris Cyborg was not at all happy with the announcement that Holly holm e Germain de Randamie will compete for the inaugural belt in the women's featherweight category (up to 66kg) at UFC 208, scheduled for February 11th, in Brooklyn (USA). Through her social networks, the Brazilian showed dissatisfaction and upset with the way she has been treated by Dana White, president of the organization.

“The UFC was forcing me to fight at 63,5 kg and they knew I would do the 66 kg (division). Why did they want me to kill myself to fight? They won't let me defend my 66 kg belt and I can't fight in February because the weight cut to 63,5 kg was too dangerous for my health. I'm tired of working for a boss who doesn't like me. I don't fight for a belt, I fight for respect. And that’s why my fans will follow me in any organization with any promoter,” wrote the fighter, referring to the two fights she had in Ultimate in 2016.

Cyborg also revealed that she intended to face Holly for the belt in March, a month after UFC 208, but, according to her, the organization's unwillingness to see her as Ultimate champion prevented this duel from happening.

“I should fight Holly in Brasília. I didn't deny the fight, I just asked for March. Maybe the UFC isn't interested in Cyborg as champion. The worst part is that I fought for my division, I didn't turn down fights. I ordered for March. You know when a boss just doesn’t want to promote you even though you’re doing everything for the company”, declared Cris, who concluded by mocking Holm and Randamie’s current phase.

“I am a world champion and no one has beaten me. One of these girls is coming off two consecutive losses in her fights. The other hasn't fought in the featherweight division for five years. It’s not a world title,” she concluded.

Chris Cyborg, 31 years old, is the Invicta FC featherweight champion, and has already had two fights in Ultimate, both at catchweight (up to 63,5kg). Her debut came at UFC 198, in Curitiba, in May, when she knocked out Leslie Smith. Afterwards, she knocked out Lina Lansberg in the UFC Brasilia, in September of this year.
