After second event in Bahrain, Brave announces third edition in Brazil

Curitiba was the city chosen by the organization of the Prince of Bahrain for its first international edition

brave-brazilAfter holding its second edition in the Middle East, once again in Isa Town, the Brave Combat Federation organization, owned by the Prince of Bahrain, announced that Brazil will be the stage for its first international event, in the coming months.

President Mohammed Shahid announced that the capital of Paraná, Curitiba, will host Brave 3 in February. “We are very excited. Brazil has always been a market we have focused on and it is time to finally go home to mixed martial arts.”

Shahid also explained the choice of Curitiba. “We studied the event in other cities, but Curitiba has a very interesting history with the world of fights and continues to be one of the most important cities for MMA in the world.”

When asked about the card, the director preferred not to reveal further details, but assured that he will bring a strong program to the first Brazilian event. “As we are still in the middle of negotiations, we cannot reveal who will or will not be on the card, but fans can be sure that we will have a program that matches Brazilian history in this sport. We have athletes from Brazil in our squad and we will also study hiring others. Furthermore, we want to take our international stars to compete in the country and encourage this cultural integration through sport”, he assured.

“In just two editions, Brave has established a very high standard of quality, whether in the cards, the structure or the relationship with the athletes. We came to change the face of world MMA and that is exactly what fans from all over Brazil can expect when they come to follow our first international edition up close, in February, in Curitiba”, he concluded.

To date, Brave has held two events in Bahrain, in September and December. Two Brazilians have played for the organization so far: Thiago “Monstro” Vieira from São Paulo, who ended up defeated by Russian Gadzhimusa Gaziev in Brave 1 and Alex “Leko” da Silva from Santa Catarina, who beat North American Daniel Swain in the second edition
