Brazil ended its participation in UFC Fight NIght Albany with a 50% success rate. With two representatives on the preliminary card, the country won with a victory with Ju Thai, but Tiago Trator ended up defeated.
Ju put up a safe fight against JJ Aldrich and won in a unanimous decision by the judges. But Trator felt the weight of his hand Shane burgos and after almost being knocked out, he was also defeated in a unanimous decision.

Ju Thai from Minas Gerais entered the Octagon under pressure. Coming from defeat to Carla esparza, in April, the Brazilian needed the triumph to climb back up the women's strawweight rankings. The fight between Trator and Burgos started well balanced. The Brazilian took the initiative and after two kicks he caught his rival's back, who had difficulty staying on his feet. After freeing himself from the grip, Shane walked forward and landed some good punches against the Amapá man's face.
