The ceremonial weigh-in for UFC 206, which will be held this Saturday (10), in Canada, had some unusual facts. In the main fight of the night, Anthony Pettis was booed by fans at the Air Canada Center in Toronto. Former lightweight champion, “Showtime” did not reach the featherweight limit earlier, weighing in at 67,1 kg. and his fight against Max Holloway (65,7 kg. beaten) will only be valid for the interim division title if “Abençoado” wins the fight.

Holloway, in turn, was greatly celebrated by Canadians, thanked them for their support and sent a message to MMA fans:
“Tomorrow, turn on the TV and watch the birth of a new star. Thank you Canada, I love you!”
In the second most important fight of the night, new provocations, this time between the fighters. Matt Brown (77,5 kg.), who faces Donald Cerrone (77,3 kg.) for the welterweight division, he ignored his opponent's outstretched hand and scowled. “Cowboy” just laughed and even pretended to start a new fight.
Another tense encounter occurred between Tim Kennedy and Kelvin Gastelum. The two fight for the middleweight division and, during the confrontation, their faces came to touch at forehead level.
Three athletes did not reach the required weight for their divisions. In addition to Anthony Pettis, Canadian Valerie Letorneau (opponent of Brazilian debutant Viviane “Sucuri”, she weighed 53,2 kg.) and Rustam Khabilov (who faces Jason Saggo and weighed 71,9 kg.) had difficulties and were unable to reach the limit of their divisions. Everyone will be deducted 20% of their salary.
